How do I make an appointment?
MiiRA is predominantly a website-based business that provides a custom service.
Appointments are via email and phone.

What happens after I order?
Once an order is placed and confirmed via email, a 50% deposit is required for the creation to commence.
Photos, via email, are sent of possible options as the style is being created.
Alterations can be made if necessary before dispatch.
The second and final payment is made prior to dispatch.
Payment can be made via direct bank deposit.

How long will my order take?
Depending on the style chosen and availability of materials, 1—4 weeks.
Freight time will vary depending on the destination.

Can a hat or headpiece be made in different colors?
Most colors can be recreated into any style as each piece is custom made, subject to availability of materials.

Can I have different styles, trimmings and details other than what is shown on the website?
The website gives an idea of the range and options that are possible. Pieces can be developed from the collection to blend in with your special style, theme and occasion.
Styles, trimming and details can be created for a headpiece that is uniquely for you.

How do I wear a cocktail, fascinator, teaser styles or other creations with a comb?
Cocktail and fascinator styles are usually fitted with elastic. The elastic is hidden under the hair and is secured by a 360° loop around the nape of the neck to the top of the creation. The hair is then neatly combed over the elastic.
Wash hair the previous night to avoid slippery hair.
To secure a creation on a comb or a teaser clip, tightly twirl a small bunch of hair and fasten with crossed bobby pins. This will ensure a sturdy base for the creation to affix onto the twirled hair.
Clients will be advised how wear creations, but often elongated lines are best when placed off centre, sweeping across the forehead, sitting forward on an angle across the brow, to give a heightened perception of length.
